Wahlberg attacked a second Vietnamese-American man later the same day, punching him in the eye. When Wahlberg was arrested and returned to the scene of the first assault, he told police officers: "I'll tell you now that's the mother-fucker whose head I split open."[85] Later Wahlberg would explain that he was high on PCP at the time.[86] Investigators also noted that Wahlberg "made numerous unsolicited racial statements about 'gooks' and 'slant-eyed gooks'

The surname Wahlberg was an occupational name for an elector. In medieval Germany, electors were the ecclesiastical and temporal princes who elected the Holy Roman Emperor.
I just read a few other origins of this name and they’re all different. It’s probably one of those names that can go either way.
I’ve noticed when he references jews in his movies like Ted for example, it’s not done the same way jews reference themselves. Like when he jokes about the Christmas tradition of beating up neighborhood jews? Or the scene where they talk about having to let jews in their club or whatever and he’s like “Why do we have to make a point to talk about this?”
If I had to guess I’d say he’s probably semi-based but also depends on kikes for his livelihood.
Maybe he's not, but the name got his family work.
