I just read a few other origins of this name and they’re all different. It’s probably one of those names that can go either way. I’ve noticed when he references jews in his movies like Ted for example, it’s not done the same way jews reference themselves. Like when he jokes about the Christmas tradition of beating up neighborhood jews? Or the scene where they talk about having to let jews in their club or whatever and he’s like “Why do we have to make a point to talk about this?” If I had to guess I’d say he’s probably semi-based but also depends on kikes for his livelihood.
