and so you elude to the source of their power: our ignorance to not have the means of survival & comfort for our families in place outside of 'their' system(s). you (we) consented to it all: the power grid, the reliance on a grocery store, the internet connection from a monopoly mega-corp, the car that requires fuel 'they' provide and on and on. you're on the mark - boycotting and rejecting their systems will do nothing and only hurt us; like you say they already own everything anyway; and as a friend says: they have all the things 'money' can buy. 'They' can live probably another century or two meanwhile the average city dweller can live a day or two; maybe a couple weeks before starvation sets in. A few months for those a little more prepared. This is the actual 'wealth gap' and its only there because again - our own ignorance to the need for survival by way of our selfish consent to their endless offers; all aimed at exploiting us and perpetuating the cycle of self destruction so that 'they live'.
