I was a falun gong practitioner about 20 years ago. I remember when the epoch times first started. We tried desperately to warn people about the threat of the CCP back then. I regret not trying harder. But it's difficult to red pill people.
Falun Gong members are punished by the c.c.p. I read a story about a Falun Gong member who was punished with slave labor in a factory. He hid a note in a product that was shipped to the USA. The note said something like they were worked >15 hours a day, 6 or 7 days a week. And the c.c.p. attempts to “re-educate” them.
It’s hard to find true info. about it, because of the c.c.p. There’s a lot of false info. and propaganda.
I guess that would be why China inspects each and every item shipped out that is large enough to conceal a note. And everything metal that can't be checked by X-Ray is opened. Only drug shipments are allowed through.

Yes, they own it. I remember when it was first getting started, the problems getting things going, organizational problems, and finding/training good reporters. Most if not all people working there are practitioners. Every part of life is to learn about the teachings and how to be a good person in spite of trials and tribulations.

Ya I actually went to see the Shen Yun performance that expounds on this spiritualist movement.
They mock commies pretty hard it's fucking awesome. They have a digital projection screen to create background effects. One performance depicted a portrait of Karl Marx superimposed over a tidal wave that is consuming Beijing.

Let's just say that not all of China's business community, which is vast and powerful similar to Wall Street, is pleased to see the return of the Communists to state power in China.
Many would like to see them defeated. Many are willing to put their money towards that goal.
I remember being on holiday in China sometime ago and recall Falun Dafa being chased by police with bats for wishing people well.
Literally the only paper i get in my mailbox. Falun gong is hated by ccp. They have a strong anti-commie streak. In my mind this is all good.

The one offshoot of NTD is China Uncensored and I watch that all the time. I also think NTD is free to air on satellite.
