You kinda figured SUPER RIGHT!

Gotta make sure the goose grease doesn't burn your house down! I put the buggest hugest [really big] pan under our goose to collect the yummy goosegrease, but that totally overflowed! The kitchen was super smoky, but I cleaned it up and carried on with the cooking, using the baster to take out bunches of goose grease at a time and saving it in things for making gravy and stuff later.

Goddam what a good bird. Fed the whole family, with leftovers for days!

Did you shoot it or buy it somewhere? I've never seen one for sale.

There was this one store that had the AWESOMEST meat deprtment. We got it there.

That store got gobbled up by a bigger corporation and now they kind of suck. They don't have gooses anymore. So next time we'll have to shoot one.

That store used to have these "Rosie" chickens also; those were so delicious, we figured those birds probably got a super insect rich diet or something. Or maybe they were fed only the very most delicious chicken so that they tasted like SUPER delicious chickens! Seriously, I never realised that chickens could be THAT good. I mean, chicken's pretty much always pretty good, but this was different.

Gotta shoot our own chickens now, too!

Corporate America is always fucking shit up.

It's crazy how much better natural food tastes. Part of my region is very rural and when I travel out there I buy the eggs from the farmers. They are so much richer in flavor, even the yolks look different. They say the chickens do eat more insects which give them more proteins.
