The warranty on Generac requires annual check ups and oil changes. It might be 300 the first year and 150 a year after, not real sure. I used mine for 9 days earlier this year and had little problems. Of course, I have to fill it with gas twice a day but that only takes 5 minutes. The price difference and minimal effort made a lot more sense for me.
