I don't have to worry about anything like this for the most part since I do video game documentary/analysis/updates but you don't have to be in the middle of it to see the retarded fucking minefield that is demonetization. A hundred people could upload the exact same video and only fifty of them would get demonetized for it.

Who give a fuck about YouTube? It's a dying platform despite what they think. Technology is getting cheaper, and better. The next YouTube with far less bullshit is going to arrive soon. I already visit a dozen different video websites, and they're pretty good. There will only be improvements in the future. Then YouTube is gonna get destroyed. It's a website for fucking babies, and snowflakes. Soon kids will see it as the uncool place to be. They're gonna go somewhere else.

It's the only place content creators can effectively monetize - can support any amount of active users - has proper analytics - has gained atleast 100M+ users each year for the past several years - 58% of people above the age of 51 use YouTube in the US - and is the second most visited website in the world. It's not dying, its very VERY rapidly growing. It's literally impossible for anyone to afford enough servers and make enough business connections to even come close to competing with it. You can hate YouTube, that's obviously fine, but to say it's dying is like saying Google or Amazon is dying, it's the exact opposite of what's happening to an extreme degree.
