For whites it is maybe a 65-35 split small gov/big gov. For nonwhites it is 80-20 big gov/small gov.
Don't know where you get your figures but I'm in the UK and these people are probably 80% or more boot licking socialists.
People who have views that are shared by the media, promoted by social media, and are generally popular with their bag o' reeses pieces friend group are the most vocal. Your country is literally the origin of "Shy Tory" and I think you would find the number of people who don't want to support endless waves of migrants who produce nothing but inflated housing prices and higher crime is higher than you think, but individuals have no recourse except for the ballot box.
I think you're correct in terms of the British being nationalists but their nationalism leads them closer to national socialist ideology or monarchism. They are very deferential to government authority
