I see what you mean. they have lost the meaning of life. Being corporate slaves that work 60 hours a week then go back to tiny apartments. With women that are increasingly worthless over time, but getting needier and costlier.
In 1920, Japan's population was a little over 55,000,000. In 2020 population is estimated to be a little over 123,000,000 Japanese nationals. There may be some "shrinkage pains" but it isn't going to be any kind of a catastrophe if Japan loses 30-40 million of its population.
