Aww baby can't admit when someone has a point?
Well, no, I clearly admitted you have “a point”, but asserted that it doesn’t invalidate my own.
Nobody is going to make you trust that Lord Jesus will return. You kind of just do, or do not. I’m able to articulate a number of reasons I still think He’s coming back (and soon), but it’s not really as if any of that will suddenly make you believe.
I can't find you admitting anything, so it's certainly not "clearly".
Yes, Christians have a belief that when things get really really bad, there's no need to do anything because the world's almost over anyways. That's why the Founders were largely Deists, because Christians are lazy-ass pussies fixated on trusting the plan. Deists know that men carve their own fate and futures.
Christ might return, he might not, but given the track record... any individual claim that he will come soon should be disbelieved. They've had an 100% fail rate. "But this time's different..." No. It's exactly the same. Only the reasons why gullible idiots rationalize it have changed. Nothing else.
You don't believe it because of logic or reason, you're just rationalizing what you already chosen to believe for dumb reasons. I disbelieve it because of logic and reason. I know that God is real, but I don't need to cling to fantasies to make sense of the world.

Can you actually point to a real, tangible example of what constitutes what you are talking about ?
