You're telling me there is literature to support the case that I'd hesitate less to harm a white person than any other race? Yeah, maybe in this current Twilight Zone under the watchful eye of Big Brother. Hardly anyone could avoid the racial consideration today - at least those of us who are white - of harming a non-white. It's obvious this is having impacts on police behavior and even in the judicial system.

But excepting this learned behavior, I don't agree at all that our natural inclinations are to be less apprehensive about harming our in-group. Quite the contrary.

Europeans fighting Europeans is more brutal than Euros vs any other group. you are more likely hit a white child that was pestering you than you were a non white child. i think it boils down to the less you know you more you fear and the less apprehensive you are when you know what you are dealing with. and with society as a layer of our social fabric that means that if a white hits a non white he will receive a mob of non whites.
