Meh, that's not really a huge concern of mine. If you care that much, you are going to be reading the ingredients. And if you really care, you already know there's crap in pre-made foods. And if you really care, you already avoid those foods or make from scratch.
So, that's really not much of an argument. Take control of your own life. Wake me up when they start forcing responsible people to eat things they don't want to eat.

10/10 I raise mealworms for my chickens. I do have duckweed growing in my aquarium. Never thought to feed it to the chickens.

Oh yeah, the chickens love duckweed and it grows like crazy. High in protein. Fill a kiddy pool up with it and your chickens are pretty much free.
