On the other hand, after Ike, Galveston's slums got cleaned up quite a bit. Some parts are actually fairly nice. But I don't know who lives in the 'nice' houses necessarily, we'll find out soon enough if that area begins to waste away.

I can point to every other street corner around here after decades where innocent shopkeepers and others have been gunned down for a few bucks, dozens of places, and the crime is up over 20 percent from this time last year.

Years ago they opened a nice new mall near negro town and I said well good luck with that. It's a sh*t hole now anybody feel me?
