Cool.
I confirmed that the customizer works now and password auth works on a fresh image. That has been broken on the old imager for a long time.
I have yet to own a Raspberry Pi. I have never really found a use for one. I've been more into the VM and emulation (like qemu) and a regular PC does that well for me. Still working with OS/2 / Arca Noae. One of my pet projects is to get a modern web browser to work on it.
I use them for various little projects/tasks. For example, I have a bunch of UPS's that dont have built in network modules for mgmt and reporting but they do have a USB port I can mange the UPS with. So, I 3d-Printed a bunch of cases for some cheap RPi 2w Zero's then stuck them to the side of the UPS and plugged it into the rpi.
They run NUTs (Network Ups Tools) that connect back to my home assistant and Ansible server so if the power goes out I can auto-shutdown all of my systems/servers/vm's/etc gracefully without having to do it myself. Then, with WakeOnLan and other stuff like that I can power everything back up once power is back online and stable (100% without me touching anything).
This way if I am out of town or things go out in the middle of the night I don't need to get up in the morning to get things back online. It will just recover itself.
