There's a reason I don't buy from Adafruit... can't remember exactly why... but I know it had something to do with wokeness and it was so horrendous I had to write a lengthy email to them explaining exactly why they are a bunch of faggots and why they lost a good customer.
They were all mad that Fentanyl Floyd got what he deserved.

If it weren't for the fact that their name has "fruit" in it, I probably wouldn't remember exactly which company I'm not being friendly towards. Once the "fruitcakes" association was made... the rest was history.
The whole thing sucks, though. I've got a project I'm working on right now that uses an SD card breakout board of theirs, that I've bought several years ago. I have others, but this one is bare bones with no electronics on it, which is what I want. I've thought about tossing it in the trash out of principle, but hey... 1) the company name is on the bottom and out of sight, and 2) it was purchased way before I settled on the boycott decision.
Part of me wishes they'd write back and say "Hey... look man... We're sorry, and we canned the blue-haired faggots... We promise to never get into identity politics ever again..."

I know what you mean. I posted in another comment about how Adafruit has done a lot for the microcontroller community and has an amazing array of products. But I just can't get past the wokeness of the company. If you look at their purple-hair founder, it's not surprising.
