I've never seen one of those with a split windshield like this. Not to say such a thing couldn't have possibly existed, I have just not seen it.

Yeah, me either. Not really sure, that was just the first one that came to mind. Didn't Mercedes also make a military vehicle of that nature?

Yeah, but in wasting a whole bunch of time on the clock there looking at pix of cool old German machinery it looked like Mercedes pretty much always had nice curved windshields; as nice as one would expect from Mercedes, even on their military vehicles.
Then I found this thing (web4.hobbylinc.com), which makes me wish I still had the time and space to build models and stuff.
