Look at all the flags and swastikas already up. If we were in the same spot I would readily put some up. The people were obviously happy they are there.

He also took pictures of hanged Men so I'm sure it wasn't all that great, on the other hand the pictures of the city after the Red Army marched through made nobody there happy. Opava (Czechoslovakia) was practically destroyed by the artillery etc.

I’m sure every place they took over had enemies. But the general consensus is most places were happy to see them. As opposed to when the Russians came and killed and raped.

The Czechs are quite used to welcoming invaders, this country has 4 current National Holidays related to independence.

Freedom from the Austrians.

Freedom from the USSR

and freedom from the Slovaks

It seems that every time they get a newcomer they (eventually) get another holiday. Still, I like this country and the people who live here.
