That's what a co-worker just said about the people responsible for the coordination (or lack thereof) of road repairs on our way to work.
They managed to lock down a bridge for repairs while at the same time blocking traffic over the main road to get around said bridge to make a new roundabout.
Even bus traffic is affected because, well, who could've seen that coming.
I guess I should be glad that the projected repair time for the bridge is only three weeks in "The best Germany that ever existed". Could easily be months if not years.
Shit that got done in mere weeks 30 years ago, now takes them anywhere from half a year to several years.
They just announced that the Berlin state library is going to be closed for renovations starting 2030 for ELEVEN FUCKING YEARS. Projected costs are 1.1 Giga-Euros so you know it's going to be twice that at least.
