On my way to work yesterday the truck took a shit. Total loss of power going down the road. Oil light flashes, oh shit. By the grace of God I was able to coast into a lot and perfectly into a parking space. Thank Jesus for the little things. Oil was basically off stick. Look at oil pan, it's doing a blackface routine. >thatsnotgood.exe Walked home, grabbed oil, biked back to truck, topped off oil, inspect underside. Not pissing oil, maybe I can limp it home? Try cranking a bit to circulate oil. In a hurry and not being careful enough, forgot to cut fuel. Engine fires up, runs rough for a moment before puttering out. Oh shit again. I think we blew a seal / rings and lost compression boys. I pulled out one plug so far and used inspection camera. The cylinder doesn't look fucked, but it was getting dark and I went home. Haven't inspected the other three yet. I bought a compression test kit. I'll have time in a couple of days to look at it again, but outlook is bleak. Need to find a way to cut the oil filter open and look for nuggets. I should have left it for when I had more time. Rushing made things worse. Why am I so retarded? TLDR: big dumb break truck
