Yep. I work with phds and MDs. Some of the stupidest people out there. One of the phds is a black guy no one can fire so he's been moved to 5 different teams that I know of in the past year. Utterly useless. You can show him the most simple thing 5x and he will still want you on a zoom to do it for him.
Find an introvert job. Something where people leave you alone. Granted, most are night or graveyard shift, but they do exist.
Overnight library physical inventory auditor specialist. Work one weekend every month get check for 4-5k
Would have to be something very elegant as so, nothing else would compare
Guess cleaning toilets or stocking shelves are out of the question then
Tend to get nauseated fairly easy, so toilets are no go. Stocking shelves though is a capability, kinda surprised that isn't a job outsourced to robotics yet.
Remember a few things, when you get really frustrated like I feel I do: 1. Its hard to find good help. 2. Shit people set the bar very low, which regardless, makes everyone else look better. 3. Stupid people keep most of us employed one way or another.

Hahaha job security makers
Worked in civil engineering for too many years - mostly in private consulting firms. For years the model in my - and most other - professions was:
10% Performers/Overachievers - people who got shit done 75% Bodies/Drones - they show up reliably and are mostly useful 15% Bellends/Dolts - might get lucky with some, but they're first to get RIFed
Under the above model, the top 10% took care of 20-25% of the work. Today? That top 10% still cares and wants to take care of business - except now everyone is jaded and attitudes have gone to shit such that there are now 60% bodies and 30% bellends. And to top it off, mgmt doesn't want to fire anyone because getting reliable help is a problem. So that top 10% have experienced a huge increase in demand for their skills. And they're way done with that shit.
The good news is mgmt is starting to get over their firing fears, and the dregs of the workforce are starting to get sorted out. Hang in there.
Civil engineering ey? If I didn't become a hack artist with substance abuse issues that would've been cool
I work in high-end hospitality, people who are useless/bad/stupid are a ball-ache to say the least. Love being ontop of my shit though, that's fun.

Agreed. You get so good that you'll notice anything out of place from the way you left it... That's the moment when you know your productivity is being hindered.
