Why not? People lie on their resumes. Why not lie saying you're trans?
Don't bother with the color. The trans is enough. There is no objective way to refute your claim. You don't need to wear a dress or talk with a lisp, just make the claim. If challenged, immediately file an official HR complaint for discrimination. You will however be placing yourself in a permanent category.
If you don't care about the job, and the industry doesn't talk a lot, go for it. If they do and you need that job or a job in that industry, think of another way.
I'm a trans-trans man. I get double points for being a trans woman being a trans man. This works while allowing you to stay being a man.

You can be anything you "identify as." Didn't a politician recently do that? I believe so, don't recall his name. I would go for a trifecta. Something like, trans, gender fluid and black or something similar. Makes it really easy to sue them should they decide to fire you. It's keeping up the ruse that might eventually annoy even yourself, tho.
Good luck with it!
To get my job in IT, i ticked the box asking if i happen to be gay as the recruiter pushed lhe importance of dei multiple times throughout the interview stages.
Aside from ticking that box, it was never brought up again but im sure it was used as a gatekeeping metric by the recruitment firm. I thought that sort of question was illegal in Australia but i guess some rules dont apply to some people for some reason.
In today's age of live zoom meetings, you'll be donning a wig and slapping on lipstick quite often. Is the job really worth it?
