Talked to a colleague today about a new product we're in the process of developing (inductive component). While giving me materials to make some samples for our customer, he mentioned one of the hurdles for the product to be certified was dual use. Dual fucking use? For basically a coil?!? I told him then and there what I think of this shit. These sort of regulations are created by a parasite class of assholes that can't be bothered to do an honest day's work. They're paid handsomely by the productive class. I don't give a single lonesome FUCK if cable ties can be used to truss a person up. This "Dual use" shit is just another one of those troughs for the swine to feed on.
