I found a post online where a person claimed they were able to get the 500 at the same price after talking to an associate. I'm about to leave to buy a faucet. Figured I'd upgrade that while the disposal is out. If I can actually track down an employee I'll ask.

Here is my hack for finding an employee in Home Depot:
1. Find one of those large orange stair cases on wheels that they have in some aisles.
2. Push the stairs out into a main aisle, then into some other aisle.
3. Park the stairs and walk up them. Employees will come running from all over the place to ask you if you need help.
