330ft deep, rural area, near a large lake. I'm pretty sure the water in my well is still as clean as God intended, excluding the well pipe rust contributing to the iron content.
We drank well water as kids, when it was cold it was good stuff. Now the area I live in has well water so hard and dirty it's undrinkable.
Mine is still delicious cold. Also, I'm not too far from the original Poland Spring whos water you may be familiar with. Unfortunately Nestlé bought them years ago and are now sourcing water from artesian wells in various western Maine towns to supplement the original springs output to meet world wide demand. It isn't just spring water anymore.
