My mother in law tried this same tactic with both me and her son. She tried to guilt trip us by saying that we needed to get it for the benefit of our 11 year old son to ensure that we would be there for him. She tried to talk us into getting our son vaccinated. No matter what angle she tried to use, we both stood our ground and refused to give in. We even went as far as telling her that we would stop talking to her if she brought the subject up at all. She died in January after passing a blood clot. We have no doubt that the shot is what ultimately took her life. The rest of the family has quietly stopped pushing their support of the vaxx also. We don't believe that they would admit that the shot caused her death because most of them are die-hard democrats. His mom was not a democrat but sometimes she had far too much faith in the medical field after retiring from a local hospital. It's unfortunate that she had to lose her life over such a stupid decision. Stand strong in your convictions. You are trusting your gut and that will rarely let you down.
