I seem to remember @AOU saying a while back that Poal found an angel to keep it funded, but never heard more about it.

That was April Fools. It was a copypasta of (((Putt)))'s letter about an (((angel investor))), but replaced "voat" with "Poal".

@AOU is a massive retard, but I trust him way more than any other admin, with the sole exception of Boobs.

I'll disagree on the retard part. I DO think he's very strong in his convictions to the point of inflexibility, but in this modern era that's sadly what is needed. For what it's worth from some stupid old boomer who cleans floors, I trust him nearly 100%.
