Edit: it's not a netie pot but a nasal snot sucker for babies. Titles misleading I apologize for that. I got some distilled water and put it in a cup. Sucked it up in the baster and stuck it in the nose. The first squirt felt like I waterboarded myself but then after I figured out the rhythm it wasn't terrible at all. This morning my nose feels great. I think I'll do it again tonight.

Add a bit of non iodized salt. Allow to fully dissolve. If this irritates the membrane then you've likely added too much. Though a sinus infection may make it overly sensitive. Look online and you'll find the proper ratios.

If sick or have trouble getting it through the sinus, add some Alkalol Solution Nasal Wash.

Cool water works much better at opening the sinus than room or warm temp. As this removes inflammation from the sinus membrane.
