I am curious also as everything about that pic of the kid looks "AI"-generated (including some errors). The layout and "quality" of the meme also seems unusual and the entire image could be generated.

I haven't done any searches to see if this actually happened or not. Just noting that it seems fake to me based on the image properties.

Thank you for looking that up.

  • The image looking 'wonky' to me and it turning out to be genuine is a surprise to me. It looked too off in areas to be a normal photo.
  • The story actually being real and the nutjob chased and stabbed the kid for merely calling it by that accurate term is not surprising in the least, however.

Doesn't look AI generated to me (and I've personally used AI image gen quite a lot). It would be fairly difficult to get these images out of the current image generators (they're bad at text, logos etc, not great at eyes, especially when you zoom in, and aren't great at multiple subjects, especially people in the far distance).
