With the removal of bots from Twitter the number of likes etc should pretty much tank

Been doing this since birth

Most people are hardwired to pay attention to celebrities unfortunately, it's the hundred monkeys effect https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundredth_monkey_effect

Social engineers have been exploiting it in humans, descendants of people like Bernays.

already living this, and it feels awesome

Won't happen. Too many foreign bots being run by other government agencies to let celebrities die on the vine.

They probably do only get 13 likes, but they pay for 500k likes

Publicist probably does it, and they have no clue. Maybe a report every now and then.. we bought 10m likes this week for $1k. You sold 100k in perfume for 80k profit.

The thing is most celebrities don't have the modicum of talent necessary to sustain their fame. That's why they're always bending the knee, kowtowing to whatever dumb ideology is fashionable. Plus, celebrities are not a smart group of people in the first place. They're paid for exteriors, to lie, placeholders for people more interesting than them; they're caught in a system that seeks to control every aspect of their image and align it with a larger message and they get the crumbs.

Where are all the "artists" and musicians and free-thinking independent weirdos firing off witticisms? Hardly anyone willing and/or able. No. Instead, we have people clapping their asscheeks in time with the march of whatever current beat is stupidly being drummed up by the controlling interests. Where's the showmanship, the dignity, the grace, the talent? Why would I be watching?
