The hysteria over AR15s is the same kind of silliness that annoys me regarding switchblades. It makes no rational sense. An AR15 is just a rifle, and a switchblade is just a pocket knife. That they scare some ignorant people more than other rifles, or pocket knives, is irrational. They shouldn't.
