Just in case you needed any further confirmation. When the people who lie with every breath and every word (including the articles a, an, and the) say it's just another "conspiracy theory", then you know it's a fucking lead-pipe cinch that will to the public only be revealed after it has served it's purpose. The idea that you can simple believe the opposite of what a liar says is just as stupid as believing everything they say. They are manipulators not retards.

Disbelieving and/or discounting anything that a liar says is generally a good starting point and standard policy. It's a simple matter of jurisprudence that anyone found to be giving false testimony is automatically disbelieved and distrusted from that point onwards.

But by all means, continue to believe them if you choose. Don't bother getting back to me about how that works out for you, I really don't care.

I remember, back in the day, in the 2000s, AP was the news org that would put up honest and unbiased news that the other big names wouldn't. You could rely on AP to have just dull and boring straight up news.

Now look at what has happened.

I'm not even old but I've seen in my short life, the movement of "decent news" to propaganda shit. I've seen friends and family go from reasonable and informed to "drinking the fake news koolaid."

Unless you did your research and know how many food processing plants there are, how much damage was caused, how long the repairs will take, what the actual impact this will have on food production then you are a fool to come to the conclusion that these fires will lead to a food shortage.

It seems to me that these fires are part of a much larger campaign of fear. "Muh famin" has been getting pushed everywhere super fucking hard months before any fires. People weren't buying it so they upped the propaganda. Don't fall for it so easily.
