People using Ann Rand quotes as some sort of universal truth is just more evidence of the topsy turvy clown world we live in today. She wrote a few novels espousing her borderline idiotic, unrealistic ideology and for a while was considered a major thinker of the time. But people soon realized that her only value was as a novelty and, except for the devotion a handful of delusional morons, the limelight soon moved on. Any 'truth' that you might feel is to be gleaned from her writings is either the result of it being removed from its context or a fluke. Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead are actually quite entertaining to read, but they are fiction bordering on fantasy nothing more.
