Why are they considered "companies" in the traditional sense? The only reason a select few are receiving record profits in anything is by the grace of their lobbied politicians that keep funneling tax payer money to keep them at the top.
In turn they're gobbling up competitors that cant compete against the federal reserve printing press... In a free market economy, 80% of the global corps would have gone out of business long ago.
