Look at c section rates. First, we do so many c sections when it's not always necessary. Like for example I was forced to deliver a 2 lb breech baby via c section, against my will actually. My cousin was bullied into a c section because her baby was breech too. I know another lady who had one for a premie who's done having kids after her first, this is so common. Doctors don't want to deliver breech babies anymore, and any signs of things going wrong they automatically want to cut women open. Many hospitals have outright VBAC bans, especially ones in rural areas and southern US. This means women are 'forced' to have repeat c sections unless they know how to avoid it. This is for women with normal low transverse scars. It's even worse for all the women getting abnormal types of scars like t cuts, classical c sections like the one I had where they claim you can NEVER have another vaginal birth again. They woke me up from surgery saying that I would always need c sections. And guess what, that's a lie. Someone on Voat helped me find info that made me realize VBAC wasn't as dangerous as doctors claimed, if they hadn't sent that to me my precious daughter wouldn't exist and my family would've been cut short. I had to go through hell to do VBAC since it was against medical advice. I had to go without prenatal care as no doctor would take me, had to research my legal rights and find what legal terms and paperwork I'd have to use to have a hospital allow me to deliver without risking another (!) forced c section.. How many women are willing to do all this for a couple more kids? Not many. C section rates are going up while our birth rates decline, I seriously think these are related and whoever writes the policies on when c sections should be done/VBAC can't be done is trying to commit genocide via lowering birth rates. The actual risks of VBAC are way too low for the ridiculous policies surrounding them, and surgery has replaced doctors doing their jobs correctly. Something is wrong there.
