Yeah. I've done more complicated things by using the manual and youtube but I still wouldn't say I'm knowledgeable about those things. I would still need assistance if I needed to do it again.
Honestly I'd probably look up the manual to find the right place to stick the jack (that's what she said), but beyond that it's pretty easy.
I made the mistake of just putting the jack in some random spot once while I was changing the brake pads. Once.
Car tipped onto my shoulder and I became the jack so I wouldn't damage it. Hurt like a bitch. Luckily the neighbor heard me yelling for help and brought his jack and jack stands all the while yelling at me calling me a fucking dumbass for not using jack stands. He wasn't wrong.
Manual...the one that is almost always missing?
It's only missing on cold rainy nights when your tire blows out. The manual fairies take it into custody in case you lose it in the dark. Helpful of them.
Sometimes they leave the manual, but take the tire iron
