I'll never understood bystander apathy until it happened to me. A black drunk was harassing a woman. People are either recording or ignoring it. All I did was hold him from behind bearhug style and out of the blue he had 3 black "friends" all telling me not to get involved of they would jump in. Thankfully police arrived moments later. Only one of his "friends" remained only to tell the police they didn't know the drunk black man. The 3 black "friends" only got involved because a White man subdued the black drunk. Keep in mind if this happens to you and intervene be prepared to fight off more than one.
