You're really limited on your options now unless you're getting like a Mustang or Camaro you will be looking at an expensive European car. Cadillac has a few too but again those are expensive as hell.
I don't have the space for it now but if I were going to get something sporty like that I probably get a C4 Corvette. You can even get the ZR1 models at a decent price nowadays.
No Mustangs no Camaros I can't do either of those. Its gonna either be a Volkswagon or a BMW again and no one wants to sell their volksawagons of that generation.
Corvettes will be way out of my price range for insurance and I can't put my kids in the back of them so they are kind of out.
It'll probably be another 3 series as you can find those in decent shape for sale for a reasonable price(like 4000 or less) and the maintenance isn't horrible.
