We had golfball size hail and it hailed for 20 minutes. Thank God I had good tree coverage but I still lost my skylights, vent covers and awning. Total of $3000 in damage. Fortunately I'm set up to do my own repairs. The campground, with 120 sites in 100+ acres lost 20+ trees, only crushing 2 campers with no injuries. Tornado touched down 5 miles SE of us.

The first thing you learn when you live in your RV is keep an eye on the weather. I check my weather first thing in the morning, throughout the day and for sure before hitting the sack. If there is a threat of severe weather I might not go to bed.

Insurance has it all covered. I have to have full coverege on it because I depend on being able to keep this as my home. I still haven't had the adjuster look at my truck that got trashed too. I've already decided the truck is not going to be repaired. It's and oldie but goodie Ford f250 crew cab long box with a bullet proofed 6.0 powerstroke that all I really care about is the powertain and suspension.
