I'm not sure how I was granted such an amazing gift but last year some fella gifted me two goal zero battery banks. I've been using them pretty much since day one for my refrigerator and other odds and ends. I have a 1500 w and a 3000 w. The 1500 runs the refrigerator and charges off the cigarette lighter. The 3000 watt does 'some' heavy lifting but not really and charges off a solar that I set up every couple of days. I just bought myself a 400 watt little mini push heater which I'm going to plug into the 3000. Should be interesting, I only need it for the hump hours of the day and night before I get into my bed which is like being in Florida in July after about 10 minutes. Getting up for bathroom time isn't a thing either because I take the bed heat with me. I'm hoping that this little 400 watt heater will do what I need it to do. I've seen the Chinese diesel heaters but that involves cutting gigantic holes in the floor which I'm not too keen on and also I used to own a catalytic heater but that thing broke after a year and to fix it they wanted pretty much the same price I paid for it so that's not an option. So now I'm here with a plug-in electric heater.

According to the goal zero I have it will last 7 hours. All I needed for is just to get the morning nip out and for an hour before I go to bed. Once in bed it could be -20 out and I won't feel a thing. I'm not planning on riding out the winter in the cold I'm just in need for the next 2 to 3 weeks. I figured I couldn't go wrong for $9.
