LP Markets Feel Global Shortage (rigzone.com)

Propane shortages. Skyrocketing prices

Heads up.. Not sure about your areas.

I just received this message from our RV Park owner.. You can disregard the political reference if you wish, I'm in a red state now.

We will only be filling lp bottles for people in our campground. The propane companies cannot get propane from the suppliers. Major shortage at this time. President Biden put a stop to producing it. Record breaking temperatures and he decided to stop now. So be careful and cut back on usage. The company would not top off our personal propane tanks at the barn or home not enough to go around.

Thanks for the link edit. I edited my comment with more context. Damn polar vortex!

If there’s a polar vortex, which causes extreme cold in the U.S., similar to the one in 2014, that will put a lot of strain on American LPG prices, FGE’s Olney said.

Thanks... You're a stand up guy.

Glad I filled up.

The shortage is of containers, not supply, in and blaming it on Biden “stopping production” is comically retarded. (I know you said I could ignore this, but I didn’t want to.)

Article from December for reference:

Edit: I thought about it a moment, and you said filling. Which makes sense with an RV. Apparently this was in play for months, also, although I hadn’t read about it previously:

And NG and Electricity. Almost as if there is a conspiracy.

Energy is probably going to be more expensive this winter. Spot prices for natural gas and electricity, the two biggest, are up substantially this year. That tends to drive up costs everywhere else, and the colder weather this year is stretching supply lines that got comfortable serving warmer winters.
