As is usually the case, the book is better. But for a short time killer, the movie is solid.

lol,I saw it in the theater with my friend and his two really young boys.... The opening scene got them screaming and crying. He took them out for a bit, and after about 5-10 he got them back in and they were cool for the rest of the movie. A total classic. I agree though, I have been a book worm since the 70's, movies are never the book...
