In Australia, when I was a kid, we only had 5 channels on TV. I used to come home from school and watch mash all the time. Didn't particularly like it, I just didn't have anything else to watch. Now that I think about it, it's kind of fucked up for a young child to be watching complex and melodramatic shows about war. Could possibly be why i'm such a chauvinist, as my favorite part of the show was always watching hawkeye and his mate make fun of hotlips and her Beta lover, Frank. I gotta get stoned and watch Mash again some time. Also happy to see hotlips aged gracefully. RIP.
