Sorry. I can't at all agree with this. This seems like a very flimsy assertion.

I would argue, instead, that proving some people wrong is imperative.

I disagree. Leading by example is often more effective at changing minds than merely winning an argument.

Particularly since the majority of arguments/debates happen between more than 2 people--turning it from an intellectual conversion into "I have to win or I'll look stupid in front of everyone".

Socializing people is important. That one is the biggest for me.

Then there's people that waste their lives here. Some think they should have as much sex as possible, get as much money as possible or be the best at whatever sport.

Trust me when I say this: there are some areas that people desperately need to be corrected in. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot more I can say about this without saying what I think would be too much.

Could not agree more. My point is correction is more effective when it's conveyed through action, not just words.

You need to show people that your way of life is better, they have to be able to see it and want it
