That's great until electricity price increases hit, and then it goes up even more when everyone is driving them because there's limited availability and immense demand.
EVs are essentially a ponzi scheme where the early adopters get the benefit, and everyone that comes in at the bottom is left paying ever-increasing prices.
Imagine western countries shutting down "dirty" power plants as energy costs sky rocket and everyone panicking from 10 dollar gas and buying EVs.
How soon till we have blackouts from the sudden boost in demand, on top of the general growth of demand, all while we lessen energy capacity.
We're starting to see that now, with rolling blackouts in warmer parts of the nation.
My electricity increased 70% from last year to this year. Fuck EVs.
I don't think mine has increased...yet. I expect a similar rate hike this year.
