There is some merit to what you said. If they do go boom, who’s gonna be left to take my house? I’ll be fine, my wife will be fine. I’m prepping as a hobby not as a necessity. I am ready to go to ground, but so far so good. High inflation and high energy costs have had no effect on me or my lifestyle. It’s a different story for my neighbors. They are suffering. I feel bad for them. All this Covid nonsense. They are young and raising families. I’ll help them when I can. But me and mine are doing fine. I planned ahead. Now I’m just arguing with idiots on the internet for entertainment, for that I thank you.

It’s all good, food is on the table. Bills are paid. Future is certain. We’re doing fine. Just in case, we have 6 months of food storage, my house is rigged with a transfer switch, I can run the whole place off of a generator. I only keep a few weeks worth of fuel on hand because if it comes down to that, I’m out of here. But for short term power outages I’m set. I just ordered a zombiebox to keep my generator quiet and not disturb my neighbors during a power outage. However, I’ll share some juice with my neighbors if they need it. They are good people.
(I also freely exercise my 2nd amendment recognized rights in case you get any ideas.)
