how do we percieve the meaning of such great allegory? i have mine, do you have yours?

Have you never seen a person shine from within? I've witnessed people so bright I had to shade my eyes.

There is no simple, easy answer IMO to this, it is multifaceted and there may be meanings I have not considered... 1) I have learned to read the eyes... e.g. I can tell the difference between a friendly animal and a violent one even a human just thru the eyes (warm or cold)... I can also gauge awareness vs ignorance at times with the light of the eyes some have the awareness of cattle.... The eyes tell much to those who can read them 2) It also alludes to what you put in front of your eyes for example What you do frequently becomes your frequency, so attempt to put only good things in front of your eyes... Reject the bad and give the worries of your troubles to God...

"light of the lamp" also has a meaning, the light of the world is Jesus, the lamp banishes darkness, lampstands have been used to symbolize churches... I personally think the "The light of a lamp" is the holy spirit It is the doom of Babylon, their actions so enrage God when they persecute his people past a certain point... Start of the "wrath period"...
