Its hard to tell if someone is actually a lot smarter than yourself. --Funny, it takes a smart person to recognize that many people are probably smarter than they are. Less intelligent people can't really figure that out, yet they know they are smart to some degree. Thus, if you know there are probably lots of people smarter than you are, and you recognize how many dumb people there are around you, you might be pretty smart.
