As much as the left liked to talk about what the founding fathers couldn't have imagined, I don't think corporations were an actual thing they would have. Who would think that a business would make so much money and accumulate so much control over the market on a national scale that they would have enough money and power to legally bribe (lobby) members of Congress to pass laws that helped them gain even more power. It flies directly in the face of the free market economy we are supposed to have. Right?
