That only works on good people. Which has predominances in certain ethnic groups that have a high level of empathy and guilt. The rest of the savages just think they got more from you and are happy for 2 seconds and then forget about it and move on.
I was just going to say this. It's advice that is good on paper but most people today are so ignorant they'll never catch on... If anything, and also more than likely from my personal experience. They just assume you're a pushover. If you think they're treating you badly, just wait until they think you're a pushover.
I've spent hours talking to stupid people about their disrespect toward me. It was like explaining quantum physics to an ant. They literally could not comprehend why I would be upset with them.... It's petty, I know, but when you do the same thing to them back they get it immediately. Though to add to the insult they don't understand they did the same to you first. But it is interesting how double think is so real with stupid people.
"OP, why are you so pissed off? All I did was toss my trash all over your yard."
"OP, what the fuck is wrong with you! Why would you think it's okay to toss your trash on my yard!!!!!!"... "I never did this to you."
Yep. Without the capacity for shame/ guilt, empathy and inquisitiveness, they just laugh at it and can't believe how weak/ pathetic you are. Not only that but there are predators and then there are those who are hostile because they think you are a threat, with the first group, they just see those that 'treat 'em good' as especially easy prey.
People assume there are more qualities universally innate to humanity than there really are. They think because they perceive certain emotions in certain situations, or that they have the capacity to experience something, that everyone is also born that way. For instance, it was crazy when the people with an internal monologue found out there were people who have no internal monologue at all, I couldn't even believe it until they started accusing people with internal monologues of being schizophrenics, because they didn't understand at all. And how can we know that we experience pain to the same degree as another person, physical or emotional? It's impossible to find out. Also, if someone had all the colours swapped in their vision, but they were all still distinct colours (unlike colour blindness), they would never be able to figure out that their view of colours was different to everyone else- how would they even describe it?
Then there’s the Chinese. There was a study done I have somewhere, some significant percentage of Chinese children have no empathy gene. They did a thorough study and concluded it was a genetic difference, those children never developing what the rest of the world seems is present in all humans. I have met some like that, and could never understand them until, I read that.
But other East Asians, like Japanese and S Koreans don't have the same issue? I would assume the dysgenic impact of the CCP and Mao's revolution promoted the reproduction of heritable Psychopathy.
