Actually one huge reason I ended up a “flat-earther” is the obvious and ham-handed online hostility towards it that relies on censorship and snark. Like, if the earth were a ball and the moon landings were real, it would be nigh impossible to doubt either of those things because they would be easily demonstrable with modern technology and HD footage.
Same. Though I wouldn't commit to considering HD footage alone as evidence, considering how easy it would be to fake. Especially with the amount of resources big globe has at their disposal.
True, however the absence of HD panoramic videos of space walks, satellites, eclipses, Apollo landing sites, etc. speaks very loudly. If multiple camera angles were used simultaneously that would also be a lot more convincing. If the videos were authentic they would survive scrutiny a lot better than the nonsensical Space X and ISS footage.

I used to browse 9gag when I was on the loo, and some groups where usually made fun of more than others; mostly flat-earthers and anti-vaxxers. A couple of years ago, I noticed that the jokes towards those groups ramped up big time. I think it was a bit before the 2016 US election campaign. I remember at the time, I thought that was weird; and that was before I joined The Great Awakening on reddit and took the red pill.
